The Texas Hill Country is a terrific for outdoors people.  Eric and Lee managed to hit some hard luck along the way due to poor planning on Lee's part...  For example, Lee didn't manage to find out that it was deer hunting season, which is the only time during the year where you can't climb Enchanted Rock; a famous part of the Llano Uplift.  They did get a pretty good look at the rock, but after we saw a ten year old kid with a shotgun, they decided it would be better to just view from the safety of their rental car.

Down in to Longhorn Caverns

Longhorn Caverns is one of several really cool caves in the Hill Country.  Due to Lee's tour guide incompetence, Our heroes missed out on the guided tour.  Lee & Eric also chickened out on going in unchaperoned... but they did get to see a natural bridge (a rare geological phenomenon) and there was some good graffiti on the top of an observation tower written by a high school sophomore "Sex, drugs, rock 'n roll, Speed, weed, birth control..."  More on the caverns.
