This guy was a load of laughs. He was telling us all about this game that has been played for the last 2,500 years by him and his descendants... You run around a big field with these hammers and swing as hard as you can at your opponent's teams knees. If you hit someone's knees, then you get a point. If the guy falls down, you can get extra points by ripping out your opponent's heart and showing it to him while he's still alive. I think that a modified version of this sport was developed into basketball, but I'm not sure. |

One thing about Mexico, it sure is hot. It's not uncommon to see people crashed out on the side of the street during the hot part of the day. It's called a siesta. We tripped over this guy when we were walking down the street, and he got all mad and something in Spanish that sounded like "go piss up a rope" or something. |
Agriculture is a big part of Mexico's economy. These people we met told us that the corn harvest this year was unfit for human or animal consumption because of the heat. Global warming should continue to deprive these nice guys of their livelihood. |

Trash picking can be fun and profitable! I once found a quarter once of weed, a fully stocked first aid kit and a brand new Discover card Dumpster Diving... I wish this nice lady we met similar luck! |
Uh oh! Busted! Well, this didn't happen to us, but you never know... next time we try to get in to Mexico, we might just get pulled in by their Immigrations Officials like this guy. |
