The Menger Hotel

Blocks away from the alamo is the famous Menger Hotel where Theodore Roosevelt first gathered what would be the Rough Riders.  A politically astute man with a keen sense of history, I'm sure he knew the vibe of the Alamo would stir these men to incite the Spanish American War.

San Antonio Riverwalk

The Riverwalk: A series of sidewalk cafes near the River.  There were many opportunities for us to eat at some silly bistros, but we ate Mexican food (Lee had the Chicken w/Santa Anna sauce)
